As most of you know, the Governor has delayed the potential phased reopening of Virginia from May 8 to May 15. Phase 1 could range from 2 to 4 weeks, and Phase 2 could be just as long. With a little quick math, you can see our June Annual Meeting falls into the Phase 2 timeline. Phase 2 still prohibits large gatherings and contains other restrictions. Therefore, we have reluctantly canceled the VAA 69^th Annual Meeting.

In the meantime, we are scheduling a series of webinars covering the planned Annual Meeting topics. The webinar subjects will be COVID-19 issues and 2020 General Assembly items. Also, we have an exciting opportunity to share with members – a Health Insurance Plan that could save you and your employee’s thousands of dollars. We will be sending a separate email on these webinars, but the dates and times are listed below my signature line.

With the cancellation of the June meeting, we will issue refunds to those who have registered and paid. Room reservation will be canceled and refunded (if applicable) by Kingsmill (no need to call). If you decided to stay elsewhere, please remember to call them and cancel.
