The Virginia Asphalt Association (VAA) is the unified voice for the asphalt industry in the Commonwealth. Established in 1952, our purpose has been to ensure that asphalt remains the pavement of choice through technical excellence and tireless advocacy. We exist to bridge the gap between the professionals who build our roads and the agencies that design them, ensuring Virginia’s infrastructure is safe, smooth, and sustainable.

We don’t just promote a product; we advocate for the people who build Virginia. By providing technical expertise, legislative advocacy, and world-class training, we empower our members to deliver the most versatile and cost-effective paving solutions in the world.
