The Virginia Education Center for Asphalt Technology, affectionately known as VECAT, is a partnership between VAA, Germanna Community College, and VDOT. VAA and industry professionals have developed certification materials that have credentialed more than 5,000 people.

VECAT is one of the largest certification entities in Virginia! Using the success of VECAT, VAA professionals are partnering with members and other institutions to identify and develop the workforce of the future.
