Richard J. Schreck

In 2017 the VAA Scholarship was renamed the Richard J Schreck Scholarship in honor of VAA's retired Executive Vice President of 36 years. Richard was instrumental in the development of the scholarship program and we are proud to award these scholarships in his name.The Richard J Schreck Scholarship was established to assist dependents of VAA member companies in furthering their education beyond high school. This program is managed under the auspices of the NAPA Research and Education Foundation (NAPAREF) Scholarship Program, a 501(c)3 organization.Only dependents/spouses/employees of VAA member companies are eligible to apply. Eligibility includes all incoming freshman, first-year attendees at post-high school institution (i.e. trade school, colleges, universities). Also those students currently enrolled in post-high school institutions may apply.

2022 RICHARD J SCHRECK SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS

Thanks to the generous support of our donors, VAA was able to award $65,000 in 2022 scholarships.  Thirteen deserving recipients were chosen and VAA will award each student a check for $5000 in June! The 2022 Richard J Schreck Scholarship winners are:
